What is an onsite consultation?

Our President, Dan Peters, will arrange a time to meet with new clients. This is a time to hear what the client is looking for in design and look. After listening to your goals for the project, he can help you find an appropriate hardwood floor for your new environment or recommend a finishing process to restore the natural luster of existing hardwood floors.

The onsite consultation includes:

  • Measuring the floor for square footage
  • Provide ideas for good wood choices within your parameters
  • Estimate time, materials and overall budget of the hardwood flooring project
  • Provides a timeline of services and explanation of our customized hardwood flooring installation, sanding and finishing process.

Customer services provided by Peters' Hardwood Floors

  • We ship and deliver directly to your home or business
  • We provide moisture and humidity checks of home and sub floors
  • We provide custom samples of finish and hardwood flooring so that you can see it under your lighting conditions

After approval of the samples we will:

  1. Lay or install floor
  2. Rough sand
  3. Custom color match hand trowled wood filler
  4. Sanding 2
  5. Finish sand
  6. Stain and seal coat (natural)
  7. Finish coats
  8. Final clean up

When we complete the project, a beautiful and high quality hardwood floor will be left behind. Simply stated, our craftsmanship will floor you.
